Road, next to the church and opposite the school. There is a dispensary on site

There is a public car park in the centre of the village and some parking on the road.

The surgery at Godshill is situated
just out of the village centre in Yarborough Close. The surgery times link with
the Niton surgery so that if one surgery is closed the other is usually open and
patients may be seen at either surgery if their need is urgent.

WELCOME
TO THE PRACTICE
The South Wight Medical
Practice is a non limited partnership between Drs Hayes, Gordon, Hill and Fritzsche
and serves the villages of Brook, Brighstone, Chale, Chale Green, Chillerton,
Godshill, Niton, Rookley, Shorwell and Whitwell. The practice area is shown on
the map page of this website. There are three surgery premises,
namely Niton, Brighstone and Godshill, and we are able to dispense medications
to our patients if they live more than one mile from the nearest chemist.
Patient Participation Group - thank you to those who have expressed an interest in this group. Below is some information that will hopefully give you a brief insight as to the function of the PPG.
- What is the PPG - the group will comprise of Practice patients who wish to work together with the Doctors and Staff to help them meet the needs of the Practice population. We will welcome innovation and initiative as with your input we can ensure that the patient is at the heart of our team. We will also ask for your opinions and feedback and hope this will enable us to develop both our local and our Islandwide services.
We will shortly be inviting those of you who have expressed an interest to our first PPG meeting.
We are always happy to accept new members. If you are interested in joining us please give your details to a Receptionist.
X-rays - if the doctor has given you a form to have an x-ray, you can attend the X-ray Department at St Mary's Hospital. No appointment is needed.
